A makerspace is a collaborative workspace inside a school, library, or separate public/private facility used for making, learning, exploring, and sharing and often uses high-tech tools. A makerspace provides hands-on learning, help with critical thinking skills, and boosts self-confidence.

Our goal is to collect community donations to supply the ongoing needs of Audubon's Makerspace, which enriches our student's STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) education. A successful donation drive will earn each team member a Bronze Award.

A Bronze Award is presented to registered fourth and fifth-grade Girl Scouts at the Junior Level. It is the 3rd highest award a Girl Scout can earn for a girl-led Take Action project that identifies a need in the community, puts a plan in motion, and fulfills that need.
You may have certain materials in your home office or art supplies that would be of great value to our creative students. Kindly review the list of needed materials and consider donating whatever you can spare. If you would like to donate but do not have the items in your household, you can donate from the Amazon wish list below. Please see our Contact Us form below to request a tax deductible receipt for your records. We appreciate your support!
